Stage 1: 10" Coconut Shell Carbon Block Filter (5 Micron)

• Removes chlorine, harmful organic and organochlorine substances (like endocrine disrupting hormones)
• Filters out metals, phenols, and petroleum products
• Offers limited sediment filtration (e.g., sand, grains, silt, rust)
• High-density carbon block handles filtration more effectively than Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), making it the preferred option in single-stage systems
• Note: Without a separate sediment filter, this system may require more frequent cartridge replacements if your water contains high levels of large particles
