Ideal for whole-house applications using municipal or borehole water, this unit combines a 50-micron sediment filter, a carbon block filter, and a descaling stage with 5kg of Siliphos crystals. It is housed in three durable 20" Big Blue filter housings, securely mounted to a heavy-duty steel powder coated bracket.

Stages of Water Treatment:

• Stage 1: 50-micron sediment filter removes larger particles such as sand, silt, rust, and dirt

• Stage 2: Carbon block filter reduces chlorine, odour, taste, and organic contaminants

• Stage 3 (Descaler): 5kg of Siliphos crystals condition water to prevent limescale and corrosion buildup

Descaler Function Details:

• Siliphos crystals sequester calcium and magnesium, preventing hard scale deposits in pipes and on heating elements

• Crystals dissolve over time and must be topped up based on water quality and usage

• Helps reduce corrosion in older pipes and improves the efficiency of water-heating appliances

• In extreme lime-rich water conditions, a water softener may be more suitable as crystals can clump and cause blockages
