Overview

The Canature LP-4040 is a high-performance low-pressure brackish water reverse osmosis membrane designed for commercial and industrial RO systems requiring reliable purification and high contaminant rejection. Engineered for stable operation in systems running above 10 bar (145 psi), this membrane delivers a permeate flow of approximately 2400 gallons per day (9.1 m³/d) with an impressive 99.5% rejection rate, ensuring excellent removal of dissolved salts, minerals, and contaminants.

With an active membrane area of 90 ft² (8.4 m²) and a 28 mil feed spacer, the Canature LP-4040 provides an optimal balance between water flow and filtration efficiency. Tested under standard conditions at 225 psi (1.55 MPa) and 25°C, it offers consistent performance across demanding brackish water treatment applications.

Built for durability, the membrane can withstand working pressures up to 600 psi (4.14 MPa) and supports feed water flow rates of up to 75 gallons per minute (17 m³/h), making it suitable for heavy-duty RO installations where reliability and performance are critical.
